An elderly grandfather, in keeping with tradition, reads to his sick grandson “The Princess Bride” a book that has been passed down in the family for generations. The story tells of a former farm girl who has been chosen to wed to a Prince she does not love. She is still in mourning for her former one true love who was a hired farm hand that she believed loved her. While out riding she was kidnapped by bandits who then are chased by the Prince and his men during which time she seeks other options to avoid marrying the Prince.
