September 17 & 18, 2022
Due to recent logistical issues, and a truncated timeline due to COVID restrictions earlier in 2022, Mondeo Entertainment and Regent Theatre, have reluctantly decided to postpone the Durham Region Blues Festival until 2023. The Promoter wants to provide a top-notch experience for both patrons and performers, and felt that holding off until next year was the best way to accomplish this. We apologize to all music fans who were looking forward to this event, but we hope to produce a bigger, better event for you next year. The new date for the 1st Annual Blues Festival will be September 15-17, 2023. Watch the Regent Theatre website in the new year for more information.
THE OFFICIAL BLUES BROTHERS REVUE will proceed as scheduled.
Our mask mandate was lifted as of Friday, June 24, 2022. Patrons are encouraged to wear a suitable mask which covers their nose and chin when attending an event, but it will no longer be enforced. Regent Theatre staff will be wearing masks, and maintaining robust cleaning protocols for your protection.
Proof of vaccination status is not required for entry. However, we encourage patrons to be fully two-dose vaccinated (plus booster shots where available), when attending a public event. Vaccination remains the best protection against the worst effects of COVID-19 and its variants, and is the most important way to protect public health.
Stay home if you’re not feeling well, have tested positive, or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive.
Our policies are contingent upon current public-health conditions in Durham Region. We may need to extend or reinstate mask and/or vaccination requirements in the future. Please check back often for updates.
