Walter Neff, a new insurance salesman, meets and has an affair with the wife of one of his clients.  She proposes they kill her husband for the insurance money.  Walter comes up with a plan to receive twice the amount based on a double indemnity clause.  However, an Insurance Analyst and Walter’s best friend suspects the wife of murder along with help from another man.
