Keep coming back for more. We live in Scarborough and have come to appreciate the savings by choosing entertainment in this great theatre in Oshawa instead of driving to downtown Toronto. We don’t have to pay for parking, the tickets are way more reasonably priced, and visibility is still good, no matter what seat one is in. We probably take in 3 shows a year and have never left disappointed.  –Doris W.

This is a great theatre in the heart of downtown Oshawa and there’s plenty of free parking on the street nearby. The employees were courteous and professional and quite friendly. The atmosphere was warm and the prices were very reasonable! -Marco C.

I visited the Regent many times as a child in the 70s.The restoration is great, very close to how it was originally. I’ve been to a couple of concerts, the classic movie night and hot rod cinema. I enjoyed every visit and plan to come back for more.  –Darryl P.

The Regent is a great place to go to the theatre. It’s just the right size. All the seats are not far from the main stage area… they also play movies sometimes. Love it because I don’t have to battle traffic to get there and I’m home in ten minutes!  –Colleen C.

A beautiful old theatre has a new life… Over the passing years I have witnessed movies, choral concerts, ballet and lately symphonic concerts by the Philharmonic orchestra. The wonderful acoustics are still evident. A cultural jewel has been reborn. -Thomas P.

My first time to visit the Regent Theatre. Very convenient in downtown Oshawa, with free parking in the municipal parking garage on weekends. Close to several nice restaurants for pre or post performance snacks. Great sound in the theatre, every seat is a good seat, and a variety of classic rock, folk and other acts for any age group. [Classic Movie Night] Brought back so many memories. (Regent) was the only movie theatre in town when I was a kid so I spent a lot of my childhood there. Wow has it changed!!! They have done a beautiful job of restoring it, Seats are comfortable and you have a great view no matter where you sit! And the sound; incredible!
